Feldspar is a group of very common silicate minerals of general chemical composition. Feldspar crystallizes either in the monoclinic or in the triclinic crystal system, has an average hardness of 6 to 6 1/2 and a very variable color, ranging from colorless to white, pink, green, blue and brown. Line colour is white.
